Thank you for joining us as we came #TogetherForTransy! The day has passed but we’re already looking forward to next year!
Have you ever wondered how you can make a difference in just one day? By joining in to help celebrate Transylvania University’s annual giving day you can do just that! As a community, we will come together on March 28, 2019, to stand #TogetherForTransy!

The Transy community really showed their Pioneer Pride ensuring $75,000 to support our students!
Our students shined in the Battle of the Classes – congratulations to the Class of 2019 for winning the challenge!
Donations were received from every state except Idaho, New Hampshire, North Dakota and Vermont bringing in $23,000 for the Annual Fund.
Thank you to all that participated! Socks will be mailed out the first week of April.
*While supplies last, anyone that makes a gift of $25 or more will be sent 1 pair of Transy socks as a thank you. The fair market value ($5.30) will reduce the tax deductibility of your gift (for example, If you give $25 your tax-deductible amount will be $19.70). This is in accordance with federal tax regulations. If you wish to decline the socks and receive full tax credit for your gift, please indicate that by making a note in the comments section of the online giving form.
We secured $11,000 in scholarship money for students!
The love was strong enough to ensure $9,500 will be given to the University!
Our alumni and friends created challenges for speech and debate team, former band members, Greek organizations, reunion classes, decades and more helping to top our 550 gift goal.
Our first ever student challenge was a huge success with 106 student donors participating to bring in a $5,000 gift for the Annual Fund!
Parents and past parents contributed throughout the day to secure $6,500 for current and future pioneers
The classes of 2009-2018 stepped up the challenge and secured 5 donors from each of the 10 Young Alumni Classes securing $5,000 for our students.
Thanks to generous faculty and staff we secured $7,000 for the Annual Fund!
The alphabet was completed securing $25,000 gift to the Annual Fund!
Help us secure a $25,000 Annual Fund gift by making sure your home is represented. Hover over each state to see the number of gifts and dollar amount raised. If we receive at least one donation per state we will secure our challenge funds. If all 50 states aren’t represented by Midnight we will receive $500 per state that participates. All international gifts will be tallied at the bottom of the map.
