Transylvania University’s tenth annual #TogetherForTransy Giving Day is a one-day online fundraising drive on March 24, 2026. It’s a day for alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff, and friends from all over the world to come together to give back and celebrate why they love Transy.
A Giving Day is special because we will be hosting several different challenges throughout the day. Thanks to our generous challenge donors, every gift made will have an even bigger impact. This will truly be a way for us all to come #TogetherForTransy. 2026 is our tenth annual giving day, and since 2016, this effort has raised more than $4 million to support Transylvania University.

Like in years past, we have an exclusive Together for Transy sock design! The first 200 people to donate $35 or more between 2:00 and 4:00 PM EST on March 24 will receive this year’s socks in the mail. Your gift can be to any program or fund and may also count towards additional challenges.
Yes. Checks should be made out to Transylvania University and indicate the gift designation in the memo line. On Giving Day, March 24, checks and cash can be delivered in person from 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. EST to the Alumni and Development Office at 415 North Broadway, Lexington, KY 40508. You can pull into our circle driveway for easy parking.
Yes. Any pledge made on March 24, and fulfilled by the end of the fiscal year, June 30, 2026, will be counted for our Giving Day and will count towards challenges.
Yes, your gift to Transylvania University is tax-deductible and you will receive a gift receipt in the weeks following the Giving Day.
Absolutely! Your impact will be that much greater when you participate in several challenges. Your individual gift may also qualify for multiple challenges (for example, your gift will count towards your state in the On the Map Challenge and can also count towards the Battle of the Classes Challenge if you are a Transy graduate).
