    The proud parents of Allison Tapia ‘22 are challenging other current and past Transy families to join them in giving during Together For Transy! For every dollar contributed by a parent or grandparent, or other family member of a student or graduate, the Tapia Family will match it, up to $10,000!

    If you’re a Transy alumni couple, you count twice in our alumni participation rate, a number that impacts our alma mater’s foundation grant success and national rankings! If we receive contributions from 75 Pioneer Pairs today, we will unlock $17,250, thanks to several Transy couples:

    Make sure your current home is represented in the “On the Map” Challenge! Mac '92 and Jessica Lagrew Thompson '94 will contribute $300 for every state where a gift is made, and multiplied across the country, that’s $15,000 if we cover the map! So whether you are far from home or down the street, your donation can be amplified.

  • Student Life Challenge

    $22,000.00 of $22,000 Goal

    Our Office of Student Life creates a dynamic learning environment every day, filling our campus with meaningful events, supporting student organizations, and providing support to every Transy student. All gifts to the Student Life Office today will be matched, up to $11,000, thanks to John McClellan '90, Kara Little Covert '90, and Michael Covert '91.

  • Strength and Conditioning Challenge

    $1,300.87 of $500 Goal
    Support all Transy athletes by helping upgrade equipment in our Strength and Conditioning weight room! Our goal is to raise $500, so we can replace and upgrade resistance bands, kettlebells, medicine balls, and other equipment our athletes use for a variety of total body movements, power movements, and speed training. Strength and Conditioning helps Pioneer student-athletes get stronger, perform better, and prevent injury. Everyone who donates to this program today will be entered to win a prize pack from Transy Sports!
  • Swim and Dive Challenge

    Roger C. Elledge, II ’99 (1976 - 2023) was a proud graduate of Transylvania University, where he majored in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and management. During his time at Transy, Roger was an active member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity and a dedicated member of the Swim and Dive Team.  His love for Transy and the swim team endured long after graduation.

    The Transy Swim and Dive Team is in need of new timing equipment. Through a generous matching opportunity, all gifts to the Swim & Dive team will be matched, up to $5,200, by an anonymous group of donors, in Roger's memory. Our goal is to fully fund the purchase of new touch pads!

    Your support is a meaningful way to honor Roger’s legacy and invest in the experience of current and future Transy student-athletes.

  • Men’s Lacrosse Challenge

    Top Priority: Equipment Upgrades
    Men’s Lacrosse needs your support to update our helmets and other equipment. All gifts to Men's Lacrosse today will be matched, up to $6,000, thanks to Carl Horner. That means every gift, big or small, makes a difference for us. Join the team in making this season legendary!

  • Young Alumni Challenge

    Calling all graduates from the last decade (2016-2025)! When we receive gifts from 100 young alumni today, we will unlock $5,000 from two fellow young alumni, Quentin Becker '16 and Summer Taylor '21. Your gift can be to any program, for any amount, and will also count towards other challenges. Don't miss your chance to make a difference and represent the next generation of Pioneer pride.

  • Experiential Learning

    $11,364.53 of $10,000 Goal

    Experiential learning is a defining strength at Transy: this year 45% of students have participated in at least one high-impact experience. As part of our 2030 strategic plan, our goal is to move experiential learning from incidental to intentional — and ultimately toward near‑universal participation. Today, all gifts made to Study Abroad, Paid Internships, or Research for Chemistry and Physics, will be matched, up to $5,000, thanks to Doc Denton '73.

  • My Old Kentucky Home

    This year we're announcing a new challenge in honor of Transy's home state. If we receive gifts from 750 Kentuckians, we'll unlock a $10,000 gift from Board of Trustees member Billie Jo Setzer '89 and her husband Brett. Your gift can be to any program or fund, and may also count towards other challenges!

  • Raise the Barr

    $102,849.93 of $50,000 Goal

    Barr Society members have celebrated their Transy home for over 50 years since their graduation! In honor of this group’s dedication, Andy Bales '64, Glen Bagby ‘66, and Dick Waddell '64 will match all gifts from Barr Society members (Class of 1975 and before), up to $25,000!

    All gifts made in response to the Raise the Barr mailing count—whether cash, check, card, IRA distribution, or stock gift.

  • Battle of the Classes

    You started your Transy journey with them, spent four years on campus making memories, and now you've gone your separate ways — but nobody can replace your class! Which class has the most Transy spirit? That's up to you. The Transy Class with the most donors participating will be added to our official Together For Transy plaque - and secure the bragging rights.

  • New Donor Challenge

    If you have not donated to Transy before, this is a GREAT day to do it! If we receive 75 gifts from first-time donors, Bill ‘73 and Judy Richmond Bramblet ‘75 will donate $11,000 today. You can designate your first gift to any area of campus and it can count towards other challenges as well. Join us today!

    Plus: Starting in 2026, if you take the standard deduction on your taxes (and don't itemize), you can get a new deduction for up to $1,000, of charitable donations, so your gift to Transy today could help you get some money back at tax time next year.

    All matching funds go to the Transylvania Fund, supporting scholarships and other areas of greatest need.

  • Scholarship Challenge

    Transylvania scholarships are driven by donor support. When you give to the General Scholarship Fund during Together For Transy, your donation will be matched, dollar for dollar, by two members of our Board of Regents and one member of the Class of 1995 – up to $80,000 total. By investing in Pioneers, we can help defray the cost of a Transylvania education for tomorrow’s leaders, doers, and dreamers.

  • Fraternity and Sorority Olympics

    Our chapters are fierce competitors during the annual Fraternity and Sorority Together for Transy competition, battling to see which organizations can bring the greatest number of donations for Transy. So whether you're a graduate, active member, or parent, make your gift during Together For Transy, flag your affiliation, and watch to see whose Greek home shines brightest!

    Today we come Together for Transy to support efforts that make our campus home a place where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected. Your gifts to the Campus Belonging Challenge will help strengthen programs like student community service experiences, cultural learning opportunities, and resources to support underrepresented student groups. Every contribution will be matched, up to $10,000, thanks to Neil '70 and Carrie Farris, Chris Sauer '95 and Meghan Henson, and Lisa Stuckey '80.
